my psp is dead... i have a 1000. the charger i have charges through my computer with a usb cord. when the charger is in the orange light is on, i let it sit for awhile to start playing again and i checked to see how much it charged and it said that it was at 0% . so then i left it on and tried charging it, it didnt work either. when i take the charger out it shuts off. if i have the charger in it will stay on but if i try and play a game or listen to music or watch a movie it'll shut off. what should i do?Help with my psp charger?

Ok, so I have a PSP, its my brother's old one. I honestly don't know anything about PSP's: so I was wondering why it doesn't work. I have tried charging it with its USB charger, and it doesn't show any power light when I turn it on. Why is this? Also, it doesn't have a memory card... could this be why? It depends on what psp you have, a fat psp will only charge with a wall charger while the slim psp work with the usb charger.
The next thing you need to do is make sure it has a battery and a memery card will cost anywhere around 5 to 30 dollors depending on the size, go with a two or four gig.
Other than that it should run. If you need anymore info you can call sony or go to there website or you can put up another question i will get my friend to help you, he is one of the best when it comes to this stuff.
Do you have a BATTERY? Try turning it over, you should be able to figure out the side that the battery should be on and open the cover. If there is a battery then it may be dead. Also the charger wasn't USB, then again maybe he had a USB charger, it was a AC Adapter(like standard chargers are). If there is a battery I'd try buying a new one and see if that helps. As to a memory card they are DUO Stick Pros, they aren't all that much. Just look in a gamestop or Best Buy or something in the section with PSP stuff. It wouldn't keep the system from coming on though.

What do I do with my PSP?
I lost the wall socket charger but I know how to charge it with the usb cable on my computer. The only problem is I ran it completely dead. To charge it on my computer it has to be turned on. Please help.What do I do with my PSP?

It will not Connect or CHARGE any of my ipods.

Since you're having trouble with 2 devices, it's a good bet that it is the port and not the device or cable.
My only other suggestion would be to check that your drivers are up to date. Navigate to Start%26gt;Settings%26gt;Control Panel%26gt;System%26gt;Hardware%26gt;Device Manager...find Universal Serial Bus controllers at the bottom of the list and expand it. If any of them have a yellow exclamation point over the icon, you have found your source of trouble. Right click on the device and click ';Update Driver'; (for WinXP) or right click and select ';Properties'; and ';Driver'; and ';update driver'; for previous versions.
If this does not solve your problem, it may be something physical with the port itself--if you have the expertise (or adventurousness!) you may want to pop open the case to make sure the card is seated right and everything is still plugged in.

You're telling us to include pictures... Well firstly, what is dubai? The ';best'; games are really what YOU like but I'd recommend NBA live 08, God of war, and Grand Theft Auto Liberty Stories. The psp doesn't include a USB cable but it can be bought from any game store. The psp includes a charger so you can use that but the USB cable can also be used to charge the psp but it'll take a very long time. If it has dead pixels you'll see black spots on the screen. It does have a radio but you need wireless internet access to use it. They have memory cards for purchase http://fp.scea.com/Content/peripherals/P鈥?/a> silver psp comes with a 1GB memory card). The psp only supports PRO Duo and Duo cards. Don't post your mac address online and nobody can hack you.Sony PSP????....?
