Try place the batt in and switch on your psp while the AC adapter still intact.
Btw, you need to charge the batt, and not the psp console. so u need the batt in your psp along with your ac adapter to charge.

its bricked. did you recently update the firmware?
the only explanation for the light to turn on, then turn off after a short while is a brick. if you charged it and its still not working, the only way to fix it is with a pandora battery and magic memory stick.
you can contact sony but they will charge you $90usd for a refurbished model.
If it is bricked then you need to buy a new battery or use a spare battery and use pandora's battery to get your psp unbricked

How would you change the PS3 SKU?
If you were at sony in charge of the PS3 SKU what would you change? Try and change it in a way as to not make it more expensive.
Mine would be:
-the HD being sold separately, as so many just go to newegg to buy a better one. You buy the one that you like.
-Instead of the HD it will come with a second PS3 controller.
-No media card reader as you have plently of USB ports.
-Using the money saved for no USB card reader for a generic HDMI cable. (They work fine)
-Multiple colors to attract more buyers. They have multiple colors overseas and it is what they are doing to the PSP.
-Also with multiple colors, custom image cases of the bundle PS3 Game. Bought the motorstom one? A case with motorstorm graphics. Bot the MGS one? A case with MGS graphics.
For a second version:
A barebone kit.

How do i connect my ZTE phone to my computer? i been trying to connect it with my ';USB Data/Power Cable'; that its been used for my PSP from ';Mega-Pack'; but when i connect the phone to the computer using that USB connector, it only charges my phone and won't connect to the computer! You cannot connect any phone to a computer without having the requred software from the phone manufacturer, the software will contain drivers etc required to connect, phones are not exactly plug and play devices.
Try to contact the manufacturer and ask if they have software in order for you to connect your phone to your computer. Otherwise this will not be possible.

PSP Go - many questions for owners?
Hey. So I'm interested in buying a PSP Go. But I have quite a few questions that'll ultimately determine if I do make the purchase. If you have a PSP Go and can answer these questions very accurately, then give it a shot! Thanks.
1. I got lots of music, videos, and pics on my computer and PS3. Can I transfer them to the PSP Go (I want to use it as a mp3 player besides playing games)? If yes, how are they transfered to the Go? via USB?
2. I heard that they're selling these ';codes'; for games. That way if you don't want to use your credit card to buy them from the playstation store you can buy the code with cash from an actual store. Do they sell these codes at GameStop? I know this is probably a ';duh'; question, but I want to be 100% sure.
3. Xbox has RROD. PS3 has YLOD. What problem does the PSP Go have?
4. Does it have a headphone jack?
5. Can it overheat easily?

You can charge it via USB as long as its a new slimline one, not the old 1st gen ones. It has to be in USB mode tho. 1st Gen ';fat PSPs'; have to have a special cable. It takes 5 hours to fully charge this way.

Can somebody help me with these PSP's?
I have 2 PSP systems in good working condition. Both of them have cracked screens, and one's power supply doesn't work. I slide the power switch up and the LED turns on for a split second. Anyway, I heard there was a way to display your PSP through your computer via USB. How can I do that? Also, is there a DIY way to fix my other one with the broken power supply? I have 3 batteries, I've tried all 3, it charges them, but the system doesn't turn on. I thought maybe it bricked, but nothing. Doesn't turn on at all. Anyway, I would like to hear about that program to display my PSP on my PC.Can somebody help me with these PSP's?

What do I do with my PSP?

Since you're having trouble with 2 devices, it's a good bet that it is the port and not the device or cable.
My only other suggestion would be to check that your drivers are up to date. Since you're having trouble with 2 devices, it's a good bet that it is the port and not the device or cable.
My only other suggestion would be to check that your drivers are up to date. The psp doesn't include a USB cable but it can be bought from any game store. The psp includes a charger so you can use that but the USB cable can also be used to charge the psp but it'll take a very long time. If it has dead pixels you'll see black spots on the screen. Ok, so I took my computer which is a HP Pavilion to some computer tech guys to fix my usb port because their was no connection or power. The guys said it has something to do with my motherboard which a fuse or something for the usb is not working because of connecting psp, ipod, and etc. that charges off usb or something. Well they changed my internal hard drive and ram to put in new ones, but i told them not to so they took it back out. I took my tower back home and when I turned it on the log in screen was ok but when I got to the desk top it seemed like it has gotten rebooted. It shows that my stuff are still there, but for some reason the computer tech said its in a locked folder which I never seen before appeared in my computer and they wanted charge me for something that they did wrong. They are saying that my space in hard drive was to low, but I know it was fast because I used it before giving it to them. Ok, so my question is what should I do report them or something? If possible how easy is it for me to open the lock folder or regain my stuffs?

I would assume you are running Windows XP with a password prompt at startup.
XP ';locks'; certain directories, if you've put a password on your account. This is to keep other people from merely taking out your hard drive, placing it in another computer as a non-startup drive, then trying to read your data without your password or your permission.
XP is also aware of the hardware setup within your machine. If you alter certain parts of the hardware (I don't know if RAM qualifies) then you'll need to re-authorize your copy of XP to continue using it. This is so you don't go using the single copy of XP on multiple machines.
It's possible that hard drive you have in there now, is not your original anymore and they merely moved folders to the new drive? XP considers itself to be on a new machine somehow therefore won't allow access to those locked folders?
The easiest way of undoing this, in my opinion, would be to restore the physical condition of the computer to the way it was BEFORE they changed the guts. This means having the previous hard drive, with the SAME serial number as when you gave it to them.
Did you authorize them to make extensive changes, such as changing hard drives? If so, I'd say they don't have much responsibility. You would have asked them to do what they could to restore your hardware functionality - whatever happens to the software, files, etc... is up in the air.
For what it's worth, if my data were to every leave my house or personal possession, I would back up everything I think is valuable, in a separate place.

If you feel that you have been wronged than speak to a supervisor or manager (if there is one) and let him know that you feel that you were taken for a ride. If there is no supervisor or such (the guy works alone) then express this to him. If they do not want to do anything for you, tell them that you are going to give very poor recommendations about their business to anyone you know. Always keep your cool while doing this and you will probably get some positive answers.Hope this helps.

i tried to charge my psp with the wall charger it doesn't work. Psp pandora battery?
Ok I am charging my psp datel tool battery for 1 hour now and on battery information it is still only on 0%. The orange light is on and its still on one bar on the top right flashing. And I am using it on a psp slim and I am using the slim psp datel tool battery. it said it should take 1 hour to get to 25% buts its still at 0. Anyone else have this problem? How can I fix this? some times the pandoras battery is a bit weird, it says there is no battery when there is, try the normal procedure to boot up the pandora's menu if that works then go ahead go to cfw

I have a PSP 1000, and it simply refuses to charge.

my dad just bought a psp from Hong Kong and the ac Plug is different from the UK ( its a 2 pin plug, with the pins realy flat, n not like the european ones so i cant use a converter plug that i already have).

How can i fix my psp?
I bought my psp 4 months ago and since then i've had nearly every problem possible. I've constantly had to find solutions but this time i'm clueless. For some reason my normal charger stopped working, and after looking i assumed either the charger had broke or widened the psp charge hole. i started using a usb to charge it instead which too had problems (it didnt charge all the way or at all sometimes) not to long ago i let a friend play with till it died but now i dont have a way to charge it any ideas????How can i fix my psp?

If you look in your AC input (where your charger goes into) there should be a little silver metal stick, which recieves the electricity from the charger. However mine has FALLEN OUT. yes it fell out, i dont know how, but it did, so i cant charge my psp through the regular way anymore.

You can't charge it through the USB cable, it is not set up that way. However you can go to radioshack or target, or walmart and purchse a power adapter that lets you select the voltage and amps used to charge, and the set it to the power information listed on the PSP next to the power plug. If your psp is not showing you on screen that it is charging then look at your computer down where the clock is. You will see a icon most likely with a green light and if you move the mouse over it then it will show the psp slim. Check my computer too and see if it is showing up.

If your psp is not showing you on screen that it is charging then look at your computer down where the clock is. You will see a icon most likely with a green light and if you move the mouse over it then it will show the psp slim. Check my computer too and see if it is showing up.

you can modify the psp so it would charge witha usb. i know what you might be saying,';doesnt it already have that?'; well yes it does but thats only when its in USB CONNECTION. see this mod can charge your psp without having to connect it to the computer. i highly recommend not doing this cuz if this is your first time doing a ';hard mod'; (hardware modification) then your most likely going to screw up your motherboard and your psp wont be able to turn on anymore.

The usb will only charge if your system is already on. It will not charge via usb if the unit is off. If the system is completely drained right now, then you need to charge via the power port until you can start the system again.
Also, if you're using CFW and just updated, be sure to check your CFW usb charge settings (the ones you access by holding right bumper and the power switch).funny myspace
