ARGHHH no help STILL (psp to pc)?

ok psp 3000 i got it serviced and got a new one

version is 5.03

Usb mode with usb charge off

Formatted Memory stick

Windows Vista

I have a Copmaq Notebook or a laptop pc

i am using a proper psp cord thrd one i bought

I have drives C and D no E G F do i need any of those if so how to get them???

last but not least my pc WONT RECOGNIZE THE CONNECTION AND MY CONTROLL PANNEL HAS NO OPTION FOR ';ADDING NEW HARDWARE';ARGHHH no help STILL (psp to pc)?
i had the same problem but it said that the usb port is malfunctioning. so what i id was that i waited for hte computer to load went to internet came back then pluged the usb in then it worked it said usb mode and that sound came.you just have to wait for the comuter to load.
