i have tried charging it for a few days,
using the AC adapter without the battery or memory stick in,
using a USB cord to a computer
nothing works
no matter what i do, it doesnt turn on.
when i push the switch to turn it on, the green light is on for 25 seconds then it turns off, but the PSP never loads anything up, its jsut always off.
does anyone know whats wrong with it or how i can fix it?Why doesnt my PSP work?
How do you suppose to charge it if you are not putting the battery in?
Take out the battery%26amp;memory stick, plugin the Charger, then try to power it on. If the PSP still not power up, or the greenlight just come up for several seconds, sound like you got a BRICKED PSP.
If you've just recently purchased it from a store (or still have warranty), go and replace it.
If not, search around here for a Pandora's Battery
http://forums.qj.net/f-qjnet-sony-psp-fo鈥?/a>
as it will unbrick your PSP. Bad new is you must already have a PSP with custome firmware.(or somehow get help creating a Pandora). GL

PSP HELP! FAST! i need it baddddddddd?
okay, my friend let me borrow his psp , and it died. so i need to know how to charge it with my computer. i hav no idea, because when i hook it up via usb , nothing happens.PSP HELP! FAST! i need it baddddddddd?
You can charge it via USB as long as its a new slimline one, not the old 1st gen ones. It has to be in USB mode tho. 1st Gen ';fat PSPs'; have to have a special cable. It takes 5 hours to fully charge this way.

something similar happened to my psp a while ago, if you cleaned it with a substance, it may have gotten some liquid inside. i just let it dry started working again.i doubt its this though, it might be your battery.also if its near a great amount of heat or cold, it can cause it to act differently. call Sony and they may be able to help you, or they can fix it for you.

Can somebody help me with these PSP's?
I have 2 PSP systems in good working condition. Both of them have cracked screens, and one's power supply doesn't work. I slide the power switch up and the LED turns on for a split second. Anyway, I heard there was a way to display your PSP through your computer via USB. How can I do that? Also, is there a DIY way to fix my other one with the broken power supply? I have 3 batteries, I've tried all 3, it charges them, but the system doesn't turn on. I thought maybe it bricked, but nothing. Doesn't turn on at all. Anyway, I would like to hear about that program to display my PSP on my PC.Can somebody help me with these PSP's?
The simple answers are, no, there is no way to display your PSP on your PC via USB.
As far as the Power Supply, your best bet is to find a new one at the story and then return it with the old one instead.
There are some options for displaying the PSP on TV. So to put it on your PC you would have to have a Video In card on your PC. As far as the optiosn for PSP to TV there are a couple of easy Snap On devices that use the PSPs display and transfer that image to your TV via RCA jacks, like a DVD Player. But since the problem you are having is that you have broken displays, a better option might be for you to do a hardware modification. But that is pretty complex and will probably cost as much as just buying a new PSP anyway.domain web hosting

Selling My PSP to a Friend!!!?
I have a PSP in excellent condition. it comes with Tokyo Drift, Madden 07, NBA Live 07, and GTA Vice City Stories. It comes with USB connection and an adapter to charge it by an outlet. It also comes with a 1gb memory stick. It's going to a good friend, so how much should i sell it forSelling My PSP to a Friend!!!?
sell it for $225.00 it is worth every thing you have there just tell him that it is not cheap at all ever any where :)ava06Selling My PSP to a Friend!!!?
If you sell it with the games and the memory card in usa $300
拢130?
i don't know if you are american XD
Look up the retail prices for the USB, games, system etc. Tell your friend how much they cost added up all together and try and find a fair price all together
130
10-15k Rupees.
also ask him how much he's willing to pay.
cuz all those games added up and the mem. card its like 15k or so?
then cause it's second hand reduce some from it.
depending on the condition and how much damage has been done to it(if so) the price goes down.
What type of money do you use?

You either need a new charger or a new battery.
